Nutricia Adult Research Award 2025

Nutricia are pleased to continue their support of important research in the field of nutrition support in critical care, enteral nutrition, frailty and oncology with the launch of the 2025 Adult Research Award.

This year we are offering customers the opportunity to apply for funding up to €15,000 for research into the nutritional management of patients within the hospital or community setting in the following clinical areas; critical care, enteral nutrition (especially in the growing field of plant-based medical nutrition), frailty and/or oncology.

Eligible applications for funding include: 

  • Clinical trials.
  • Service evaluations.
  • Surveys or audits exploring nutritional needs and management.
  • Healthcare use and/ or economic evaluation of nutrition intervention.  

If you would like to apply for the Nutricia Adult Research Award, download and complete the application form (available here) and send to ukclinicalresearch@nutricia.com , along with a copy of your research protocol. Further supporting information for applicants is available below. 

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 14th of July 2025.

Successful applicants will be selected by the Nutricia Medical Affairs and Research teams and all applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 5pm on Monday 6th October 2025.

Applicants must be Nutricia customers, work in the HSE or NHS, be CORU or HCPC registered healthcare professional, and be employed in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
